Understanding traveler and requester roles
Compare the responsibilities of travelers and senders so you can decide how you want to participate.
Traveler responsibilities
Review matching items carefully and send booking requests with your proposed compensation amount for items that match your itinerary and baggage allowance.
Wait for senders to accept your booking request before the booking is confirmed.
Coordinate pickup and drop-off logistics with the sender and keep them updated along the way.
Update booking status through each stage: handoff verification, payment, in transit, and delivery completion.
Sender responsibilities
Describe each item accurately and upload photos that show size and condition.
Review booking requests from travelers and accept the ones that work best for you.
Be on time for pickup and provide any customs paperwork the traveler will need at the border.
Complete handoff verification and payment after the item is verified, then confirm delivery when the item arrives safely.
Switching roles
You can toggle roles at any time from the navigation bar; the marketplace view updates instantly.
Ratings and badges apply across roles, so the trust you build as a traveler carries over to sending as well.
Notification preferences are role-specific, allowing you to mute alerts that do not apply to your current focus.
